Piccolo in Italian means "tiny" and a piccolo is a small flute. Like the flute, it is normally pitched in the key of C, but piccolo music is written an octave lower than the sounds desired. This avoids the use of many leger lines above the stave in these easy sheet music pieces. The piccolo's range is about an octave higher than that of the flute. Fingering for the piccolo and the flute are the same, but sound different by the octave in pitch. The mp3 accompaniment can be burnt to CD disk or played by computer or ipod. The whole lot can be emailed direct to you.
Easy Pieces for Piccolo
Easy sheet music pieces created for a solo piccolo as original simple sheet music compositions. All the piccolo pieces are printed musical manuscripts with a pre-recorded mp3 piano accompaniment for students learning to play the piccolo to play along to.
Although not designed as absolute starter pieces, the music student of a solo piccolo will find these relatively easy to play. They require only an early knowledge of your instrument and sheet music notation but are fun, without the need for a piano accompanist as the accompaniment is supplied already recorded. They are aimed at any age of student and as a resource for music teachers.
